AIM Enterprise Edition utilises the full power of a market leading Oracle Enterprise Edition database (11g) with Partitioning to ensure system performance is maintained with large Asset Base datasets.
The Oracle database has no restrictions on the number of processors it can utilise allowing the power to be scaled up as required and as data volumes increase, while partitioning ensures that performance is not impacted over time. Optimal AIM Enterprise can be deployed on Linux, Unix or Windows platforms and is also certified on a virtualised environment. The system comprises of Asset Investment Manager™ and RiskView™.
AIM Professional Edition is deployed on an Oracle Standard edition database (11g) which reduces Oracle licence costs (compared to the enterprise edition) whilst maintaining performance for small to medium sized enterprises. There are two database options for deployment, Oracle Standard Edition (limited to max 4 processors) and Oracle Standard Edition One (2 processors max) depending on the level of performance required.
The functionality of the system is the same as the enterprise edition but is limited to 50,000 assets. Optimal AIM Professional can be deployed on Linux, Unix or Windows platforms and is also certied on a virtualised environment. The system comprises of AIM ™ and RiskView™.
AIM Personal is deployed on a single machine and is targeted at small organisations who require the functionality of AIM for a small asset base. There are also two database options for this version, Oracle Personal Edition (licenced) and Oracle XE (free but limited to max 4GB data and 1GB memory).
The main functionality of the system is available in this version but the interface has some restrictions and the number of assets is limited to 2,000 assets. AIM Personal Edition will be available as a Virtual Machine for Windows operating systems only.
