Sam McGauley, Asset Strategy Manager from Cadent Gas, will be presenting a case study on how AIM was used to drive down OPEX costs by 35%. Due to the scale of the problem, Asset Investment Manager (AIM) was used to optimise at asset level across the entire four networks, approximately 2 million individual pipes. AIM is now being extended for use in determining the GD2 investment programme.
