ICS Consulting and Probit Consulting will be hosting the AIM Users Group Meeting in late June. The group consists of Thames Water, Dwr Cymru/Welsh Water, and South West Water, three of the largest water utilities in the UK with a combined customer base serving close to 20 million customers and millions of assets. The group meets on a regular basis to share ideas on using and getting the best out of AIM while also helping to shape the ongoing direction and development of the software. With ever increasing financial constraints, being able to maximise the potential of AIM in optimising investment has benefits for all group members.
Topics will include using AIM to optimise levels of service and investment requirements of both infrastructure networks (below ground) and non-infrastructure (above ground) assets in a business as usual manner. Probit Consulting will also demo the latest release, AIM 2.1, which includes a number of features and improvements that were discussed at the previous user group meeting in winter 2012.
Asset Investment Manager (AIM) is a fast and intuitive risk-based decision support tool that optimises your investments under multiple performance, risk and budgetary constraints. AIM is a bottom-up investment planning tool, which allows the user to aggregate proactive investment needs, reactive costs, risks and investment benefits up to any level, including asset, cohort, and geographical area.
